Never live location
Encounters surface after the fact as a road and a suburb at a point in time. No one can watch you move, and locations that repeat near a home address are filtered out before they reach anyone.
Three-tier profile privacy
Every field is Public, Match-only or Hidden. Public is what a stranger sees when they scan your badge. Match-only unlocks when you both rev. Hidden never leaves your account.
Block and report
One tap removes someone from your deck, your encounters and your badge scans permanently. Reports are reviewed by a real person in Australia.
Photo verification
Verified members get a badge on their profile. You can set your deck to verified-only whenever you like.
Eyes on the road
CarDate never shows a match while you're moving. Encounters are locked until you've parked — the app is for when you get home, not for the driver's seat.
Meet in the open
First dates work best at a cars-and-coffee, a public car park or a café. Tell someone where you're going, keep the chat in the app until you're comfortable, and use the in-chat safety check-in.
